PSSA ‘Fly for Fun’ event – The Great Orme, Llandudno, North Wales
Meet at the ‘Tank Track’ car park for pilots brief 10am each day. Proof of BMFA (or equivalent) Insurance and Pilot Competency certificate required. All models to be fitted with compliant CAA OpID number.
NOTE – Due to slope access restrictions in place during Spring this event WILL NOT RUN as listed if the prevailing winds are Easterly and we would need to fly over the pier. In this case a decision will be taken in the week running up to the event and we will look to defer the date as best we can.

PSSA ‘Fly for Fun’ event with the Lleyn MAC – Nr Abersoch, North Wales
Following previous years successes the PSSA will once again be on the slopes of the Lleyn peninsula for an extended period of 5 days. We have agreed access with the Lleyn MAC committee for PSSA dedicated sloping from Wednesday 1st July to Sunday July 5th 2026 inclusive. The ‘formal’ PSSA event will be held over the weekend 4th and 5th July.
Meet at the SPAR car park in Llanbedrog for 09:30 am each day (applies only to 4/5 July) – a map of the chosen slope will be posted on the shop window for any late arrivals. A map of all slope locations can be found on the Lleyn MAC website. Proof of BMFA (or equivalent) Insurance and Pilot Competency certificate required.
All models to be fitted with compliant CAA OpID number.
A daily flying charge will be payable at certain flying sites.
